General Terms and Conditions

These general terms and conditions of sale are systematically brought to the attention of each buyer to allow them to place an order. Placing an order implies the buyer’s full and unconditional acceptance of these terms and conditions of sale.

1 – PRICES

1.1- The prices communicated by Dark Dreams are indicated in euros, including all taxes, for a minimum of 45 minutes of gameplay unless there is abandonment or exclusion for inappropriate behavior.

1.2- Any other service not included in the initial reservation will incur an additional charge.

1.3- Dark Dreams reserves the right to request identification for any minor.

1.4- Dark Dreams reserves the right to change its prices at any time, but the service will be charged based on the rates in effect at the time the order is placed.

2 – RESERVATION

2.1- Availability
All reservations are made in real-time based on availability. The sale will only be final upon receipt of the confirmation email from Dark Dreams, which will include the reservation number. The buyer’s bank account will be immediately debited for the amount of the services.

2.2- Room Assignment
Dark Dreams reserves the right to assign its game themes based on reservations, and no complaints can be made regarding the theme assignments made by Dark Dreams.

2.3- Confidentiality
By booking a time slot, the buyer implicitly acknowledges that all games, components, and puzzles of Dark Dreams are strictly confidential. Any full or partial disclosure or publication to a third party would violate the commercial interests of Dark Dreams.

2.4- Session Delay
Dark Dreams reserves the right to cancel a reserved session if the players’ delay exceeds fifteen minutes. In this case, the session will not be refunded.

2.5- Reservation Cancellation
No unfulfilled reservation or participant withdrawal will be refunded. The service cannot be exchanged.

3 – PAYMENT METHODS

3.1- Dark Dreams only accepts payment by credit cards and/or PayPal accounts, except for room privatization by a group.

4 – LATE PAYMENT PENALTIES

4.1- In the event of non-payment, Dark Dreams reserves the right to charge late payment penalties and recovery fees. The late payment penalties represent 10.05% of the total service amount (including taxes) based on the rates in effect from 2015 to 2016 (half-yearly ECB reference rate plus 10 points). The recovery fees represent a flat fee of 40 euros.

4.2- We remind you that any unpaid session is considered overdue if not paid by the 31st day after its completion.

5 – INVOICES AND DOCUMENTS

5.1- Dark Dreams agrees to provide an invoice by email upon request. If other administrative requests are made by the client, Dark Dreams reserves the right to charge an additional fee of 10 euros (including taxes) for further administrative processing.

6 – PAYMENT AND PERSONAL DATA SECURITY

6.1- Payment Security
Dark Dreams has entrusted its payment system to a provider specialized in online payment security and does not store any payment-related data in its databases.

6.2- Personal Data
By ordering through the Dark Dreams website, you consent to Dark Dreams using your personal data necessary for processing your orders. Dark Dreams agrees to use this data only for information and commercial offers related to Dark Dreams games and not to disclose it to third parties unless we receive a request from a judicial or administrative authority authorized by law to request such information in accordance with applicable legal provisions.

All of this information is handled with the utmost care and discretion.

7 – ELECTRONIC RESERVATION

7.1- Each electronic reservation is given a unique reservation number, granting access to a game room.

7.2- The buyer will receive a confirmation email including the number, date, and time of their reservation.

8 – INTERNAL RULES OF DARK DREAMS GAMES

8.1- Dark Dreams makes every effort to offer you a game that meets your expectations. The arrangement, order, or distribution of the room remains at Dark Dreams’ discretion, and no complaint can be made if this is modified.

8.2- Dark Dreams games can be played from the age of eight. However, players under sixteen must be accompanied by at least one adult per game room.

8.3- Dark Dreams reserves the right to request identification to verify the age of the person.

8.4- Pets are not allowed in the Dark Dreams establishment.

8.5- It is strictly prohibited to photograph, film, or record any part of the room or the game. Any violation of this prohibition will result in the confiscation of the device until the end of the game or expulsion from the game room and may lead to legal action.

8.6- It is also prohibited to reproduce texts, logos, images, or any other elements on the Dark Dreams website or in the emails sent by Dark Dreams.

8.7- Dark Dreams declines all responsibility for any damage to objects brought by customers that were not deposited at the reception for safekeeping.

8.8- Dark Dreams is a non-smoking area.

9 – APPLICABLE LAW – COMPETENT COURTS

9.1- These general terms and conditions of sale are governed by French law. In case of a dispute, French courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
